Generation Chile seeks to recruit and Operations Associate (Senior Analyst) who embodies our values and is passionate about creating impact in Chile’s education to employment ecosystem.

Descripción

The Operations Associate will conduct operations analysis and execute finance activities. You will analyze both program implementation and overall day to day service levels and KPIs, develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure organization data and reporting needs are met. In addition, you will be responsible for executing payments, performing internal controls, ensuring quality and financial risk mitigation, as well as supporting accounting in coordination with third-party accounting partner companies and other external service providers. Strong technology, analytical and communication skills are must-have traits. In addition to performing financial and operational modeling, the Operations Associate is expected to develop new models that underpin sound organization decisions. He/she should recognize that streamlining and improving internal and external reporting is key to the success of the organization.

 WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Create detailed data analysis, identify and outline problems, opportunities, and potential solutions for Generation Chile

  • Carry out ad-hoc analysis and present the results in a clear manner

  • Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis

  • Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

  • Monitor project progress and elaborate progress reports

  • Support the preparation of financial proposals, develop high quality financial report materials for government, corporate, foundation, and individual grants and ensure they are delivered on-time and according to requirements

  • Ensure accurate and compliant record keeping in accounting systems, allocate costs and track usage of philanthropic resources, and ensure bank, cash and credit card reconciliations

  • Support transaction registration and accounting with partner accountants, and file, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records and reports

  • Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, and support annual audit processes and fiscal reports

  • Monitor cash flow and operational spending to meet expected needs, and establish and maintain adequate internal controls and safeguards for cash management

  • Execute accurate and timely payments of payroll and benefits, and ensure payment processing of accounts payable and collection of accounts receivable within established deadlines

  • Support registration of employee documentation and process need to administer human resources in collaboration with partners accountants

Perfil buscado

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU'LL NEED:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), with the ability to provide clear and effective advice on a range of people issues

  • High level of proficiency Microsoft suits, especially excel

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with data

  • Experience managing financial operations

  • Ability to handle sensitive, highly confidential information

  • Work experience as a Business Analyst in a financial, BPO, Research or Marketing environment is highly desired

  • Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful with a pragmatic, solution focused approach to people issues

  • Good coaching and mentoring skills and an approach that builds capacity rather than dependency

  • Able to work independently and on own initiative, making informed and sensible judgements as well as working as part of a wider team

  • Seen as a credible source of advice and experienced in effectively resolving complex data and business matters
