With the roll-out of PRIMES to UNHCR and partners, UNHCR Chile is looking to recruit a Data Management Associate that can manage the database and provide capacity building, maintenance, and technical support to PRIMES users on a daily basis

Descripción

To respond to the rising number of displaced people currently seeking safety in Chile and their growing needs, UNHCR’s presence in the country has grown immensely over the past 5 years. This requires UNHCR and partners to better streamline access to protection interventions and assistance for refugees, asylum seekers, and other persons of concern to UNHCR in the country, as well as formalize referral pathways amongst each other. In consequence, UNHCR Chile has developed a registration and case management strategy for 2022-2023 and is currently rolling out UNHCR’s corporate tools for registration, identity and case management, PRIMES, to UNHCR colleagues and to its implementing partners. PRIMES will allow UNHCR and partners to have a centralized repository of the people the people they support in Chile and a history of the assistance provided to each facilitating referrals and avoiding duplication in the assistance. UNHCR Chile is looking to recruit a Data Management Associate that can manage the database and provide capacity building, maintenance, and technical support to PRIMES users on a daily basis. The incumbent would also be required to develop reports using the data collected in PRIMES and monitor quality of the data. The incumbent will receive training on how to use PRIMES tools as they onboard and receive ongoing technical support from colleagues in the MCO in Argentina and the Reg Bureau in Panama.
